Getting a quote

We hope you have found this web site informative. If you think we can help you, the next step is to organise a quotation. We are always happy to do an onsite quotation so we can see the windows in question. This is a free service.

You have two options.

1) For the following services we suggest an on site quotation.

  • All sun control window film. We prefer to see your windows and it is best if you can see the samples.
  • Commercial translucent window film
  • Safety window film
  • Any work that can't easily be reached from a three step ladder or by standing on the floor (remember film is normally applied from the inside and both hands are holding the film and tools)

Please call 62369609 to arrange a time that is mutually suitable.

2) For the following services you can obtain a quote via email. If you would like to accept our quote, please call to arrange a time for installation.

  • Small translucent film work, such as entrances
  • Security film

You are welcome to have an onsite quotation if you prefer.

This is the information that we will need:

  • Width and height of EACH PIECE of glass. Round measurements to the nearest 5mm (1/2 cm) is preferred, nearest cm will often suffice. Please measure all windows, as windows that appear the same or 'should' be the same often aren't.
  • We would also like to know...
    • Type of frame
      • Aluminium
      • Painted steel (common in older suburbs)
      • Timber, stained
      • Timber, painted
      • Glazing bars (criss-cross dividers usually stuck on with silicon)
    • Type of sealant
      • No sealant, frame meets glass (please check for clear silicon protrusions)
      • Rubber or plastic
      • Silicon
      • Putty, hard or soft
    • Access
      • Is there movable or fixed furniture or other obstructions to the window? Anything within a metre of the window may be an obstruction.
      • Are the tops of any of the windows higher than you can reach?
      • Any curtains or blinds that do not retract fully from the window should be removed. What type are they (note: type, not brand) or will you do it yourself?
Fabric curtains can often be tied back or propped out of the way with a dining chair. If they do need to come down, it is often best to do it the evening before so that any dust can settle.
  • Film type
    • If you are still unsure of your selection it makes little difference with small translucent film jobs. We can provide a price and bring a selection of films with us.
  • Pattern details
    • If you like a pattern shown on one of the photos, tell us which one.
    • If there is to be no pattern just say 'full cover'.
    • If you have your own pattern you will need to send us a sketch or organise a meeting.
  • Your name, contact number and address

You are welcome to give us a call and talk through things and then e-mail us the sizes.

For price estimates, see the 'approximate installed cost' included on each product's page.
