The Solar Gard® Quantum group are aimed to find some middle ground between the reflective appearance of top heat-reducing films and the poor performance of black-looking films. To do this they utilise multiple layers and special alloy coatings. While they can't truly compete with the heat reduction of more reflective films or the chic black appearance of non-reflective films, they strike an attractive middle position. In addition, the secret alloy has colour stability that is second to none we know of. The overall longevity of this product has been thus far, astounding.
